Geoffrey Swivel is the third and youngest child of Lord and Lady Swivel. A well-educated young person and a pacifist, Geoffrey is naturally dissatisfied with the hunting practices of their father, which they consider barbaric.
Although raised as a boy, Geoffrey decides that they want to become a witch. When asked why they don't want to be a wizard, Geoffrey tells Tiffany Aching that they don't think of themself as a man, or anything really. They are "merely Geoffrey".
